What QR Best is
QR Best is a tool that builds QR codes in your browser and lets you download them as images. It is operated by QR Best, an independent project.
What you make is yours
We claim nothing over the QR codes you create. You may use them for anything, including commercial work, printing, packaging, and resale. No credit or attribution is required.
Logos and images you upload remain yours. By uploading one you confirm that you have the right to use it, and you give us permission to store and serve it so that your design keeps working. Read the privacy page before uploading anything, since uploaded logos are stored at a public address and are not deleted.
Check your codes before you use them
This one matters more than the rest. A QR code can be made unreadable by heavy styling, a large logo, poor contrast, or printing at too small a size. The tool warns where it can, but it cannot know how you will print or display the result.
Test every code with a real phone camera before you print it, order it, or publish it. We are not responsible for the cost of a print run, a product batch, or a campaign that used a code you did not test.
Fair use of the service
Do not use QR Best to:
- encode links to malware, phishing pages, or other content meant to deceive people;
- upload images you do not have the right to use;
- automate the site at a volume that degrades it for other people, or work around the limits on downloads.
We may block access that does any of these.
Accounts and credits
An account is optional. You are responsible for keeping access to the email address it uses, since that is how you get back into it.
Credits, where they apply, buy downloads. They have no cash value, do not expire, and are not transferable. If a purchase fails to deliver the credits you paid for, email us and we will fix it or refund it.
Advertising
The site shows advertising, which is what keeps it free. We do not control which specific ads appear, and showing an ad is not an endorsement of what it advertises.
No warranty
QR Best is provided as it is, without a warranty of any kind. We do not promise that the site will always be available, or that it will be free of faults. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from using it.
Changes
These terms may change. The date at the top of the page changes when they do, and continuing to use the site means you accept the current version.
